Does anyone have an opinion on this lift type?

Rough Country makes some good stuff, but you will still need shocks and extended sway bar links. Find grimmus on here, he works for r.c. and can get you a discount. Also, if your leaves are sagging at all, you'll want full packs and not a.a.l.

You wont need longer sway links. I just got done doing a 3 inch kit and my links are fine..however I am upgrading to discos. Like the post above states if you have any sag in your leafs avoid the add a leaf. You dont necessarily have to have new shocks but believe me you will want them. If your going for 3 inches on the cheap go with Rough Country or Rustys. I personally prefer Rustys Offroad. If you have any questions dont hesitate to ask. I am pretty familiar with the lift kits since mine got installed by myself in my apartment parking lot...haha

The rough country lift comes with new shocks, just get it directly from rough country instead of jc whitney. Call them, ask for jason, mention this forum, and tell him you need a 3" lift with full leaf packs. The X series is the better of the two.

The reason I mentioned shocks is the jc Whitney kit you linked doesn't include them, so just keep in mind a $ difference.

Yeah, I'd like to see what kind of shocks I could afford.
