Disconnect it. There's about 2mins work removing the nuts on both sides. Makes life a hell of a lot easier.

So 2 bolts on both sides of the axle?

Yeah two top nuts. You could loosen the bottom nuts too so the droplinks could be rotated out of the way.

It's literally the simplest thing you'll do on your lift.

As for the coil spring compressors, if you don't have to use them, don't. They are safe, but just treat them with respect.

Yes, Go slow and tighten down each side slowly and evenly. The sway bar takes like 2 seconds. Just remove the top bolt.. and flip it up. once your done flip it back down and bolt it back up. You can move the link thats below it so you have more room to work with.

Ok..didnt realize an impact wrench was needed for the compressor so that's out of the question..damn

For what? I wouldn't use an impact on coil spring compressors.. They arn't hard to compress by hand (ratchet) at all.

Yeah do not get an impact on the coil spring compressor, that can end up being a dangerous situation. But really, you don't need them, the springs should be able to go in without too much issue.

Yea, you should be able to just lay the axel on the ground without the jack, I did. Just watch your brake lines.
