It's possible. Disconnect the drag link and the upper control arms. Everything will drop easily then. Tips for the rear...soak all bolts in PB Blaster.

I dunno if theres a difference between my 91 and the 2000's suspension, but I got my front coils off with no compressor without undoing any control arms by just disconnecting the swaybar, and pushing the side of the axle you want lower down, and having a friend simply pull it out. Not too hard, just watch the brakelines, and you'll be golden.

when i put my 4.5 inch coils in i pulled the drivshaft off the front diff, dropped the LCA's and pulled off the sway bar links and was able to get my 4.5 inch coils in without compressors, a 3 inch should be easier

I rented a coil spring compressor when I did mine. Taking the old ones out wont be a problem, its putting the new ones in that will be harder. But nothing too hard.

Just take a trip up to autozone and get some coil compressors, they loan them out for free... As for the rear, don't take the full leaf packs out. Just undo the U bolts and the centering bolt. Add the new leaf and repack them. If you take the entire leaf pack out, you risk breaking the bolt that holds the leafs to the unibody. Most people have.

My friends came over and helped me with my rear passenger's side wheel, they told me they stripped the bolt on the rear shock mount. I was freaking out because the bolt is welded to the axle. After I took a look at it and the shock myself, I learned it wasnt stripped at all. LOL that got scary real quick

I see what you mean, I got the passenger side in without a problem, now I'm stuck on the drivers side... getting a great workout with those compressors Haha
