Default 2wd hubs on 4x4?

Well in the process of building my new Dana 30 and it's actually going really well! My question is, am I able to use the hubs on my 2wd axle on the Dana 30? I've seen they have a cap on them to keep the bearings in. Can that just be pressed out? Any input would be great! Just trying to save a little money for the time being and buy new hubs in a few months.

Also, if anyone wants a 2wd axle let me know!

Forget the year that they switched, but later model 2WD beams used the same UB's that the D30 did, just have a stub outer shaft. The early model 2WD beams use stupid spindle knuckles. Can't wait to get rid of mine.
