I have a 98 XJ (np231) I bought bone stock and blown up. I'm finishing a ground up build on it and finally got it running. However I notived that my part time 4wd light flickers and stays on in 2wd. When I shift into 4hi- my voltage skyrockets and I get a CEL for over voltage. I figure I have a short somewhere but was curious where I should start looking. Visually inspecting the wires with the transmission out, I see no external damage. 2wd voltage is fine as well. any help would be appreciate.
