2004 Durango 160amp alternator swap, will it work?
I recently found a guy on Craigslist selling a alternator that he claimed to be an upgrade for a jeep 4.0 so I ran the part number which is 12328. It's a tough one remanufactured alternator and supposedly its for an 04 Durango with the 4.7 V8. From what I found online it works with 2002 an up 4.0s but not older. Is this true? And if so is there any way I could make it work? He's only wants $40 for it so I didn't want to pass it up if it's a good swap to do.
