Default 2002 Grand Cherokee - Stabiliser Links and Suspension

Hello, I need to replace the rear Stabilizer Links and bushings in my 2002 Grand Cherokee. I can either order Chrysler/Jeep brand or go with a another brand like moog or Napa. Any thoughts on the quality of Moog, or Napa I may just go with the Jeep brand. Looking for any advice or lessons learned?

Thank you.
Al

Moog is an American company that's been making steering and suspension parts since 1937. They are part of Federal-Mogul since 1998. I would trust them to know what they are doing. A lot of NAPA parts are Chinese. When it comes to electronic parts, trust Mopar to be right the first time. Bosch for 02 sensors because they come with the harness connectors.

Moog has always been my first choice for stock-wise suspension component replacements.

Alphan,

I recently replaced the front stabilizer bar bushings and stabilizer bar links on my 1997 GCL and I used Moog. Great fit and all works well.

I was going to change the rear stabilizer bar bushings and links and found the 5/8 rear bar cut down by about half in the driver side bushing. I can only think it was from sand and water.

It seems there was a change made in 97 from a 5/8 rear stabilizer bar to a 7/8 bar so I ordered a Hellweg kit which included 7/8" bushings, stabilizer bar and stabilizer bar links to the rear axle. Great fit and tightened handling up some.

Good Luck
