2001 precat woes
Venting the hood also helps w/this issue. From my experience w/my '01 the vapor lock issue occurred on my XJ after slow speed driving, sitting idling or after I'd driven a bit around town and stopped for a few minutes (to get gas, coffee, drink, etc...) and then trying to start back up shortly thereafter.
After adding hood vents and new Fuel Injectors I've had no issues w/this. I also have no head shielding installed on my '01.

I have hood vents, wrapped my injectors with heat shield, oh and now have the new heat shield. So far good. This week should be a good test. Going to be around 92 and no rain in sight until like Sunday.
