Question 2" Lift Addition

I have a 2 inch rough country lift kit on my 94 XJ. I was thinking about getting 2 inch spacers for the front and 2 inch shackles or 2 inch blocks for the back. This will give me approximately 4 inches of lift right? And is there anything else i need to consider for doing this?

you can do it...

the shackle will need to be 4" longer to get 2" extra lift...

also you will need to extend and/or relocate break lines

and maybe do a t case drop(and shim the axle) or SYE kit

and at the bare minimum you will need to shim the lower control arms to the MAX adjustment (around 1/2" iirc) but it would be best to get proper lower control arms...

stock lower control arms at 4" lift will smack the axle side mounting bracket... you could also run drop brackets...

you also need to relocate your track bar... or better yet get a nice double sheer setup

I am sure I am forgetting something...

I was looking for something simple, lol sounds like the kit is the best way to go. a 4.5" comes with all that right?

No kit contains eveything you SHOULD have. Most kits contain the minimum parts needed to lift your Rigs. You may need more items for it to work correctly.
