Model: Cherokee
Engine: 2.5 weber 2bbl conv.
2.5 motor boggin down with weber 2bbl conv.
I have a 85 cherokee with 2.5 / 5 spd and 4.56 gears. I have upgraded plugs and a hotter coil but the motor bogs down in 4th gear on hills and have to down shift to go. Does anyone know if the timing needs to be advanced and to what degree ? It is at stock which i think is 22 degrees. I am running 33 in tires are the gears to low or should i run 4.88 gears ? Any help would be appreciated i am at adead end right now.
