Default 1995 Cherokee Project

I recently bought a 95 Cherokee with 70k miles. After adjusting the linkage for the 4WD it’s running like a champ. Now I am looking to make some budget changes to set it apart from all of the other stock Cherokees on the road.

For starters, I am leaning toward building a junkyard lift. From what I have read I should be able to go 3-3.5” before it starts getting expensive. I have time but money is limited. Luckily I have a Pick’N’Pull nearby that has great prices and lots of half price weekends.

I have done some research but want some input before I start this project.

From what I can tell, I will need:
Dodge Dakota (Early 90’s) leaf springs - $58
New pins & clamps for the leaf springs - $5-10
Front Grand Cherokee (93-96) Springs - $22
Shocks (not sure which yet)

Am I missing anything?
As far as the shocks go, do you know of any (affordable) that I can use that won’t need modified?

For tires, I am thinking Mickey Thompson Baja Claw - 31x10.5x15. I know a guy with a set of 5 that I can get for under $500.

I am also thinking about building a roof rack to hold the spare & a light rack.

What are your thoughts? Is there something I am overlooking? Is there something, on a budget, that you would do if this were your Cherokee?

Is a cold air intake worthwhile?
What about swapping out the injectors?

I couldn't tell you much about your plans but I've always steered away from Cold air intake on a 4x4. It may get better gas mileage but depending on what kind of 4wheeling you may be doing, it may let unwanted things in, water, dirt, etc. I've seen people argue this point both ways but I've had my entire hood under water multiple times and the stock air box kept water out. Can't complain with that. Just my two cents. Good luck.

i would just get new 3.5 lift coils it would only cost like 75-100$ need lower control arms, and then a bastard pack in the rear maybe a longer shackle, then get a brand new track bar, i recommend iron rock and u should be good, get longer brake lines, trash ur rear sway bar and get discos for the front u will be happy
