If you really wanna bleed the system, do this:

Get it situated nose down. At the driver's side rear of the head is your temperature sending unit for the gauge. Unplug it. Using a 1/2" deep socket loosen that sender til coolant starts to come out with no air. Tighten it back in and plug it back in. Don't do it with the engine hot or you could get burned and be delicate with it. You don't wanna bust it off or something.

Me, I'd try the cap first.
This is one way. Another way is to take the upper radiator hose off of the radiator, hold it up and pour coolant in there. That allows the coolant to flow into the block and the air inside the block will be released while filling.

That's probably easier and less risky actually.

I have a confession to make. In my 12 years as Service Manager and Shop Foreman at a Jeep dealership, 6 of those years with the 4.0 Renix Jeeps and how ever many years I've worked on them since, myself and my techs NEVER bled a Renix cooling system.

Now I know why we get along so well. Lol
A customer brought an 88 MJ into the shop with this same problem and said he replaced all the same components and put a gallon of coolant back in and it was full. So I had to add more to the block by said means. Same way for some Chevy's too.
