if you want those tires order the beadlocks with them trail worthy fab redoes the centers.

the sidewall on all tires says only mount on XXX rim there is a reason for that. was out in the back 40 of a buddies house snagging some old tires for a roller turns out a 16" tire will mount on a 15" rim real easy it will even appear to seat the bead and hold air but when it rolls a round a corner it rolls off the rim. the 16.5 might seat onto a 17" rim hell it might seat on a 16" rim however it will not be safe or sane.

they were not that bad when i was looking got quoted ~$1700 shipped for a set of 5 of the baja T/A's and matching double beadlocks with PVC inserts. thats $340 a rim/tire/insert for some load range D's on beadlocks IMO thats still one hell of a deal. it is still cheaper than buying damn near any new 37x12.50 that i have seen.

well im in college so im tight on money and can get hummvee tires for about 75 to 100 bucks each that are 80-95% tread left and 17in rims are easy to come by but if it cant be done safely then i wont do it and will just go to 35's since those are pretty easy to find cheap to fit my existing rims

Of course you can.... all it takes is an adapter :-D op... gmc and a few other oems used 16.5 wheels. If your hell bent on those tires why don't you get some oems like that and get adapters? I believe the truck wheels are 8 or 9 inches wide.
