You don't even need one on the stock setup.... it is purely luxury only... as a matter of fact... DON'T put one on until you're sure it goes down the road straight and the steering is tight, there's no slop.

yea we finished swapping in the axles today and driving it home with no alignment i was still able to hit 50 with no dw. i didnt really want to push it any farther with my steering being outta alignment.
I just put a 1-ton on mine from JCR a week or two ago and I'm considering throwing my stabilizer back on. It's not bad at all without it but I daily drive mine and drive on the highway a good amount so it might make buying the bracket worth it for me. Plus I already have the shock from my old setup.

You guys are giving no reason to put one on. "My steering is fine without one, but i drive it on the highway so im gonna put one on anyway" not sure what that has to do with anything. My steering was fine and spent most of its 6 years on the highway without a stabilizer. Across the country and back, at every speed an xj is capable of, and every single day for a while. If its fine without one, its fine without one.
Hey, if these guys feel comfortable with it, what does it matter to you or the rest of us?
I mean, its their money, let them spend it how they want. At least they aren't being unsafe.
