If memory serves.. the front 44 will bolt in but its a low pinion 44 so its no stronger the a HP d30.

The rear will have to cut brackets and convert it for leaf springs.

http://www.cdmfabrication.com/bbpics/axlechart.jpg the different cover will tell you which axle it is.

I would be doing all the fab work. I have most of the tools I will need. It all depends on if they are actually 44's or not.

I'm praying for them to have lockers. I highly doubt it though. No one would sell two 44's with lockers for 100 bucks. Who knows though, I could be lucky.

Did... you say 100 doll hairs??? For both?? Buy that ****, you could resell just one of those axles for 3 times that easy. Hell a D30/8.25 combo is worth more than that. If theres nothing wrong with them, lockers or not, then you should get them. But I'd be a little cautious, because either this guy doesnt know what they're worth (or maybe doesnt care and just wants them gone) or he's trying to screw you. I'd definitely go check them out, like today, because around here those things would be gone by the end of the day. If nothing else you got a chance to make some money dude.

Make sure they are 44s front and back and not a LPD30 and D35 as that's what 95% of Wrangler came with.

So I still haven't gotten a response from that guy. I guess it was too good to be true.

01 Didn't come with a 44 front, not till 03 like stated and it was a 30/44 hybrid. Only D44 part was the carrier, tubes and outters are D30.

Yup was going to say it's probably a hybrid not a true d44.

In 03- 06 tj rubicons came with the 44s. Electric lockers and frt. is a low pinion. Which creates the issue unless you dont plan on going higher than 3" of lift. Stay away from the low pinion frt. Just my couple pennies
