As some of you know we just picked up our XJ earlier this month and are looking for Jeeps and trails around the Kaiserslautern area. Does any one on here go wheeling around K-Town or Ramstein?

 

A friend of ours took some photos on the last wheeling trip and did some photo work to them. Hope yall like!

 

Is there a bunch of wheelin in Germany? I'm looking to try and get to Spangdalhem in the next 2 years. Looking to see if i should bring the XJ or the car.

 

There is more wheeling to do in the Spang area then there is here due to more farming land up there. But you also have to remember that alot of land here is for private use only..... I would bring the XJ if you dont need to do alot of work to it for inspections. Getting certain parts out here can be expensive and can take a LONG time to arrive. PM me for any questions or details about the area, the hubby was stationed at Spang so he can answer them.

 

Yea both cars are stock, should be reasonably easy to get them inspected. I just cant seem to find any clubs in the Spang area, seems like most of them were more around Ramstein

Now as in clubs you mean night clubs? Yeah K-Town has more in the local area but in Spang you have some local bars but its closer to Trier. Its all depends what you want. Here in Ramstein we have a decent off road spot just outside of base which is nice but its nowhere near technical. What is your other car?

the other car is a 2010 Mazdaspeed3, which from the sounds of it will be going to Germany with us if thats where we end up going.
