Default Zone Offroad?

I am looking at buying a lift for Cherokee but I am unfamiliar with the Brand Zone Offroad can anyone tell me if they have purchased it and what they like and dislike about it. I am looking at buying a 3 inch lift and like everyone don't want to buy something and regret it but for shipping cost im looking at $300 for pretty much any brand so before I pay that I wanna know what people have to say about it

Also I know there is a vendor for them here on Cherokee Forum

I have the Zone Offroad 3 inch lift on my XJ. Just because there isn't a lot of people running a Zone setup on their XJ, doesn't mean that Zone isn't just as good as any of the more popular brands if not better. I've heard that Zone is actually a division of BDS Suspension. I've had the lift on my XJ for almost a year and it's seen about 10,000 miles. I've put it through all kinds of abuse, from flexing, to jumping my XJ, to the everyday wear and tear of Michigan's roads .

The Add a Leaf doesn't sag at all, the Jeep is still sitting at 3 inches-3.25 inches of lift. Im running 31s right now, but I will run 33s for my next set with trimming and bumpstopping.

Here's my pro's and cons-

Pros: High Quality beefy components, Shocks come with the kit, Price, Good AAL with no sagging, Can take the abuse I throw at it

Cons: The ride is REALLY stiff, the hydraulic shocks that come with the kit are too soft.

So, would you have gone with the nitro shocks? What's your driving ratio? 70 road 30 off road?

Just wondering because I'm looking at zone shocks

I would have probably gone with the nitros. I'm getting Rancho Nitros for my next set.

As for my Driving, yeah 70/30 sounds about right.

their hydro shocks are very strong and stiff giving it a more "truck" ride but isn't very bad at all. if you want a nice smooth ride buy a Buick or Cadillac.

They're stiff as far as them not really absorbing shock lol. I can tell they're kinda soft though because whenever I stop at lights my Jeep leans forward just a little

One note on stiff shocks.
Remember we are driving cars with uni-body construction.
Very stiff shocks will transfer that stress directly to the body and that kind of stress will shorten the life of the body.
Remember the chassis is nothing but sheet metal.
Just some food for thought if you plan on keeping your XJ for a very long time.

Thanks for all the input but I finally went with rough country because I found a company in town that would ship them to me for a $100 dollars which couldn't be beat
