I have not had good heat for the last couple of years. I looked for help on the web. I was told the blend doors are the normal problems. I found a write up on how to cut into the heater box and check and replace the doors.
My blend doors are operated from a small electric motor close to the 'hump' on the passengers side. To make a long story short. I removed the heater hoses and flushed just the heater! Well now after putting the hoses back in place I have heat! The outside temp. is 15-20 degrees. And the temp coming into the vents is 140- 150 degrees.
Before doing this the heater hoses were the same temp. There was not enough flow thru the heater. Now there is a 20 degrees difference. Flushing was easy. Live and learn.
