so as ive been looking around on the builds page i noticed a lot of people name their jeeps, i did as well lol...

what are some of the names of the XJs on here and say if they are a guy or a girl haha

ill start by saying mine...
Her name is LauraLi, thought it was a fitting name, and its a girl, her nickname is black sunshine though, my friends gave her that after the white zombie song

so lets hear some names!!

 

i have a 96 and her name is Bessy, it was giving it by my friend we were out wheeling and i was climbing an ice covered hill and it started to slide backwards...i matted it and looked over at him and he was rubbing the dash saying "come on bessy you can do it!"....and it stuck!!!

 

Barney like the dinosaur. I didn't name it that my buddies did cause they insist it's purple, it's lapis blue but fadded and kinda looks purple till you see a purple one.

 

my parents call it "the beast" and my grandma calls it the "monster"
i usually call it the heep but i like calling it hubert

my brothers friend calls my brothers mach one the blue load and said i should call the jeep the green skeet

 

i just call her the jeep....but my 04 chevy i got i just call her princess

 

In my town, when somebody says "The Jeep", they know they're referring to my XJ which I think is pretty badass, since there are a bunch of Wranglers around here that don't get the title!

But, to me and most of my friends, the Jeep is known as Jethro, haha. When I'm referring to the beauty and love I have of my Jeep, it's a girl. But when I'm talking about what a beastly monster it is, it's a boy haha. Does that make my Jeep a transgender?

 

I call mine "Green Monster" because it is Green a monster and I am a Red Sox fan so why not name it after the Green Monster at Fenway Park. I put my Fenway Park Infield dirt inside of my engine.




instead of putting it in my engine I have a some inside my center console for good luck.

 

My wife calls it 'The Experiment', because I'm always workin on it for some reason (repairs or mods).

 

Sometimes I call it "Ouch, Goddammit!" Then I ask it to give me my knuckle back.

 

My jeep loves to mark its territory, so at college, my friends nicknamed it oil drip lol.

She's also been referred to as Bertha, The Heep, and 'That Big Rusty Piece of S***.'

 

mines named dixie!!

 

I named mine Woodsy. He still has his wood panels for now. I will rename him when i decide to cover or take off the wood stickers.

 

mine is called jurassic park. My friend muttered it upon seeing it the first time. I think it has to do with the roof rack?
