What is the vision you have for your jeep? For example, I picture mine as a doomsday survival vehicle. Hell or high water, my jeep will be able to get me through it. Once I have added everything I want to it, of course.
So what is your vision? Jungle excursion? Mall Crawler?

Nope, that's why I didn't say my vision was for a jungle excursion

I want my 99 DD to run good, be comfortable and quiet as an XJ can be. Also, be able to handle rough terrain or light trails when needed.
I want my 91 wheeler to be able to handle what I put it through, and not get totaled again by some douchebag.

I want mine to be a jack of all trades, with the ability to handle a lil of whatever I throw at it, whether it be a road trip, touring the mountains, mud, rocks, camping, bugging out, etc...

I'd like my 89 to be an expedition vehicle with moderate rock crawling ability. I'd like to be able to take it into the wild for a week or 2 and not worry about something breaking or getting stuck.

What I'm not looking for is DD comfort.

Reliable and capable offroad, with a low center of gravity, thats how I try to build all my 4x4s. On road comfort isnt even something I consider.
I do want my XJ to be more capable in rocks than anything else I've had, and I'm not too worried about how it does in mud, I'm about tired of mud.

Reliable as anything, and then a show truck. Dont bash me for making it a show truck, its my DD and i do classic car shows all summer with my buddies so i wanna be a part of it. She already won me 4 trophies. And then capable enough for some light offroading.
