yeah no kidding... i was trying to locate my my 96, and kept running into the same bs..

you ever see the pattern to craigslist ads?

it will list all the great things about the vehicle.. all the new parts and such.. show great pictures from one side of the jeep.. price looked good when you clicked it....then at the end... wrecked on rear corner (not shown).. engine and transmission gone..

 

When your out in the snow working freezing your butt off and girlfriend tells you "your addicted to that thing".

 

You might drive an xj if you purposely park next to a stock xj to show off

 

when you cant help looking back at it walking in to work after parking

 

When you can RE set your radio setting in under a minute after a dead battery or disconnecting it.

 

i just leave my ipod plugged in all the time. no commercials. no reset lol

 

when everytime you hear a rattle or a clunk... you have to immediately start diagnosing it in your head... coming up with a simple solution... breathe a sigh of relief.. smile.. and keep on driving

When you buy a commuter/sports car that is like the xj of the muscle car world....high maintenence and the minute ya fix one thing another gos bad..but some how ya just don't mind.. fun as hell scrounging yards and finding cars to pull stuff out of. And modifying is a breeze. Researching my compatibility and comparing reviews and parts and install methods to find the quality yet easy way to do it.

When every time you see a xj you can't help but try to guess their setup just by driving behind em. And it drives your girl nuts when you go off the route just to get better views of it.
