or you know you drive an xj when every time you close your door, some kind of dirt/mud falls off it, even after you wash it.

 

u know u drive an xj and sum gal at a stop light and says thats ugly and u reply why thank u its my xj!!!

 

or when you eventually wash it, go to get in and water drips all over your head, legs, and back

all of these are so true but no one here would trade there xj for anything,because once u own one u cant get away from them

you know that ford really stands for "found on rocks dead"
when you count your xj as one of your children
you celibate your xj's manufacturing date, and your purchasing date
you'v wired pretty much all of the electronics on new circuit, because no one who has looked can find the dang problem.
when the floor's roted, the uni-body's frame ribs are half replaced by patches, your 4'th or so exhaust manifold has cracked, and your on your 3'rd wind shield, but you STILL put money, and time into it

i thought of one more. idk if its already hear, but its the truth. you know you drive an xj when its muddy so much, you forgot what color she is under their.

 

you know you drive an xj when,
someone breaks you window to steal your cb radio....
you have to turn around because you missed the puddle you were tryin to drive through.....
when you wave at everyother xj you see on the road....
your windows only work from the drivers side.....
when you prefer bedliner over paint...
when you search on craigslist everyday hoping someones gonna be selling something really cool for it.
when your check engine light is always on

 

you know you drive an XJ when you carry a mat with you so you can put it under the engine to catch leaks when you park at peoples houses.
