You Know You Drive an XJ When...
you know you drive an XJ when you get geniunely excited about another forum member who you've never met getting his Jeep running again.
Almost EVERYWHERE I've found them has been totally unnecessary. Except where the pin to latch the back hatch is bolted in. However, that could easily be minorly modified to not need Torx bolts.

When you are afraid to degrease or clean up the engine or engine bay in fear that you will just make your XJ mad at you.
same goes for wanting to replace old wire harnesses, connections fuses, relays and the like. It just might get mad at you and not start.

When people say they want to go with you and then tell them they won't make it cause their chevy is too long and wide. Then they insist on taking only to end up beating it to hell
when you are hot, sweaty, have oil, grease or some other type of engine fluid on your hands, you smell of burning oil and/or gas fumes you look as if you have just gotten done working out, your hair is matted and wet..... and all you did was drive your XJ to the grocery store and back on a hot day.
