-Task: get to my bosses official summer dinner before 7.30pm
-Situation: 7 pm (obviously late), vacation place near the sea, approx 12 miles of freeway totally stuffed with vehicles of tourists and workers, estimated travel time: 2 1/2 hours.
-Solution: Jeep cherokee perfectly equipped for the 12 mile service sand track next to the freeway, confident you will do it on time.
-Conclusion: apart from the four vehicles i had to pull out the sand to pass (an idiot with a RAV 4 thought he could do it, got stuck and other 3 idiots that followed him with cars slowed down and got stuck behind him), it took me 35 minutes and i had a cool story to tell my boss and the other guests.
You know you drive an XJ when stuff like that happens almost every day.

^^ This. Over 100 degrees every day here in Texas and I can't bring myself to rip out my whole dash to replace my evaporator core. I keep telling myself when it cools off I will do it, but then it will be past time for AC...so what's the point?!?

Yeah, like on the driver's side kick panel by the hood latch.

I always hit up Mitchell and check the time required for a job, then multiply by 4, and assume it will take me an extra hour over that.
