You know you drive an xj when someone tells you youre gonna have trouble in their muddy driveway and you just say "thats ok, I have a jeep!" lol

you know you drive a xj when.... you can tell if a 4.0 I6 goes by your house with out looking thru the window. you look on craigs list 4 times a day looking for that perfect cheap cherokee..

You can tell if the jeep in front of you has a 4.0 in it just by looking at the exhaust (2.5s have smaller diam pipes)
You can tell if a jeep has the 4.0 just by listening to it accelerate/idle.
You can tell what Rear axle a jeep has just by looking at it. (and sometimes/most the time, the Gear Ratio also...)

You know you drive a cherokee when yours breaks and you call up your brother to borrow a part off his while it's being rebuilt, and he does the same when yours needs the axle swapped.

You know you drive an XJ when you take the time to park on the big snow mound, when you could've parked 10 seconds away from the store in the open spot.

You know you drive an xj when you see other xj's on the road and try to see under the back to see what kind of differential they have.

...when your hatch opens by itself and you don't even notice between the noise from the exhaust and the windnoise from the door seals.
...when a cherokee drives by and you and your friends can describe the year, what axles it has, tire size, and guess the mileage within 10K miles...all while going 60 mph.
...when you can spot a cherokee going the opposite direction on the highway, at night, just from the headlights/parkinglights.
...when your friend with an 02 ford ranger says his next vehicle will be a cherokee, even though all cherokees are older than his current vehicle.
...when you already know what position to set the passengers windows at before they attempt to hit the button (97+).
...when you almost run over the civic in front of you because you see some hot *** chick roll by in a cherokee.
...when you think about putting tube doors on a stock XJ.
...when you go to a friends house and he says "dude nice exhaust, I heard you pull in", and his mom goes "oh that was you? I thought it was the mailtruck"...
