Default Yellow head light lenses

So I made my head light lenses yellow using yellow tail light repair tape. I have mixed feelings about how it looks. What do you guys think? Idk if I should keep it or peel it off. It looks good when the lights are one but when they are off it looks kinda stupid so I might just get yellow bulbs

It definitely looks good when the lights are on. If I was to do something like that I'd probably go with a light blue, just not sure how the cops around here would feel about that!

Don't they make yellow bulbs? Like 3000k for HiDs is yellow or something like that. So you wouldn't need the yellow film

They do make yellow bulbs and I'm thinking about getting them. I only did the tape because I saw it at auto zone for like 3 bucks so I figured why not try it out lol

Why in the world would you wanna decrease the output from woefully poorly designed headlamps?

Is this a "ricer" thing?

Well if they have a complete white out and everything is snow covered at night like in Alaska would serve a purpose.

I live where it can snow like hell and spent many nights out in it in a heavy duty tow truck. White lights worked just hunky-dorey.

I have HID bulbs and h4 housings, and it doesn't really effect the light output at all

I honestly don't see the point.

I prefer the crisp white that I get from my Truck Lite LED headlamps.

Why not buy some yellow driving lights ? I have yellow filters I run on my HID offroad lights for dusty months in the desert when I go night wheeling and for snowy night runs in the winter.

Another option is yellow/amber fogs.Wired mine as DRL,key on.55w ea. they throw a lot of light at night and are visible during daylight.
I like mine.
