Year 2000 4litre XJ Exhaust Problem
Hi there,
Is anyone out there breaking a year 2000 4litre petrol XJ? I need the section of the exhaust that runs forward from the cat to the dual pipe that heads to the manifold. Its only a relatively small section of pipe with a thread for a lamda sensor, but the cheapest quote Ive had for new is £375....supply only!
Ive scoured ebay and emailed all manner of breakers yards, as yet to no avail. Ive been looking for a month and its really starting to wind me up now!
Can anyone help me out or at least point me in the right direction?

Yeah, I've thought about it but i just assumed that it would cost around the same as buying the part new....plus I'm guessing I'd need to remove the offending piece of pipe from my car which would leave me without the vehicle whilst they made it?
At the moment I'm just praying that the weld job the garage have done holds until I can find one.
