Wish I could...I'm buying it blind through a friend, one of his co-workers is selling it, but my buddy got zero info for me yet, just sent me the pics so far.

 

I'm just impatient, well, maybe anxious, and want to start pricing some parts....haha.

84-87 never came with a 4.0, supposedly the firewall wasn't cut deep enough for them.

 

It's the Laredo model. Not sure when Jeep stopped offering this model in the XJ.
My Laredo was a 1991.

Sorry guys, shared all the info I have at the moment. I will be going to meet the guy and pick it up in a couple of days, so I will find out everything then, and am buying it regardless, just wondered if anyone could narrow it down a bit by looking so I could start shopping around for parts. I know most things would be compatible given the range of years it could be, others not so much maybe. I've wanted to get in the dirt for a while so it's driving me crazy having to sit and wait....haha. Thanks for all the input. The only other thing I know for sure is I will be replacing the rms...which from what I've read seems pretty common.
