Will this work for say a AMC Jeep Cherokee... but an SJ?

 

should work for all jeep models. they have a pretty extensive database and will even inform you of factory recalls and ect. They are Pertinent to knowing what you really have! and if nothing have a blast!

 

I believe their records only go back 20 years. And the higher amp alternators where part of a winter (cold climate) Pkg. And includes insulation group. (or more insulation) You see I have 130 amp altonator and the insulation group.

im about to buy another xj now. looking at a ??? 93 xj country. takes all 92 parts i guess??? but titles says 93. its got 210k on 90% tread 31x10.5 goodyear wrangler AT's in a Real aggressive cut. I6 4.0 High Output. <<<Anyone know why its branded H.O. or what the diff is between my 97 sport? Auto trans. brand new replaced two weeks ago by my dude radiator and fuel pump. I guess the brain is out, got water into it somehow, but motor tranny axles ect i checked and where clear. He says hes willing to buy the brains or main computer and partially install if i pay $1350. but the comp. or brain is 518.76 i guess. What do you guys think? anyone know more about RENIX? is this one? and how do i tell? THanks for the inputsss

I noticed mine said POWER RACK AND PINION steering also...had to laugh when I read that...

 

Do they do all year Xj's? I Remember reading somewhere that they stopped holding that info for jeeps older than 20
