I have a 95 xj and I have a winch 8'000 brand new just no bumper for it to go on
I'm wanting to build one.... Has anyone built one and if so what was the masurements they you went with? Don't have the cash to buy one so its a build one.....

Just make templates on each side of your "frame" rails on the front then I'd make a mock up out of cardboard then just trace that onto the metal and tack er up to make sure it fits fine. Then just measure the mounting holes on the bottom of your winch and drill out the holes on your bumper to where your gonna mount it, unless your doing tube I'd just lay it on there and just bend or cut then tack it up until you get what you want !
But I do agree with od. There's alot of stuff out there

 

Search ebay and craigslist for a used one, chances are pretty good it cost the same as materials to build one.

 

I got mine for a fairly low price from Roxolid Trail Armor through eBay and I love it.
