XJ scene in Kuwait

I spotted this pearl on Camp Buerhing, Kuwait. I am here for a few days waiting for my flight north into Iraq. before you ask, the little bear is mine, he is d-bear (deployment bear) and I'm taking pictures of him wherever I go, to post on facebook for my son. Enjoy!

That is probably a cherokee built in Egypt. They are made to survive in the desert. Lots of cool mods from the factory...

What do they do about air intake/filters? They have to get nasty pretty quick.

Thanks to all for your comments/support. I have some more d-bear pics, but the corner of my personal laptop got clpped and cracked the screen, rendering it unserviceable... soo, it is enroute to the states, to be fixed, and returned to Iraq... by the way, i am stuck at BIAP (Baghdad Airport) and it has been raining, and the ditches/culverts/embankments are muddy/slippery... wishing the xj was here....
