I see no reason, if properly built; why it would have any shorter of a life span than another motor. Tons of cars run around with big cams and have no issues.

That's not a "radical" cam. Look at the idle speed.

I've lusted over this video since I stumbled on it more than a year ago. The dude has one damn video on his channel - that's it. I wish there was more info on his rig somewhere.
