Default XJ mod suggestions?

It's bought a 1994 XJ 2wd. It won't be seeing much dirt other than the occasional fishing trip. On a budget, could you suggest a few mods that would make it a look a little more like a credible Jeep and less like a grocery hauler? Rack? Tinting?

Thanks!

small time 'credible' would include::
replace old suspension components
agressive tires
small lift

as far as 'looks' go. CF sticker. done

x2 You could paint the rims black as long as you're putting on 30" tires with that 2" lift. Or 31" tires with that 3 inch lift.

Done and Done. Those look great! Saving my cash for a lift and tires for when I find the 4wd I am looking for. What brand paint did you use? Holding up?

thanks! holds up alright. didnt crack in heat or fade and its been on for months. but I've chipped it while changing tires once (clumsy)
I used rustoleum. but you should go a local paint store and buy some black trim
its like 20 something just for one can. it will stick better.
but I am satisfied with my rustoleum job

Simpl Maintenance is the first thing I would do, then rust protection, and paint things on the under side for that more taken care of look things like the tie rod etc. Other things you can do things like l e d lighting really make it stand out. Nice XJ
