Default XJ Michigan winter ready.

1st add ons & must haves for the Michigan winter ahead. Floor mats & good oil and filter. I'm not worried about salt and rust... It's amazing what soap and water will do keep her clean and the salt off you'll be good to go ie car wash.

I always carry enough gear to last for a week food/water/EMT first aid kit and other items to last for 6 mo. or so if no major fire fights self supporting food wise in my area for quite some time. In fact that's why my cargo area is so full and most of the back seats, on the rear of the front seats a 3 long gun carrier with ammo storage.

I use in-flight rats, fluids included with them.

Andrew we have a Life-Straw in everything we drive. You can go without food for some time water only 3 days till major problems start. I have them stored in my first-aid kits all home assembled except for the one in the XJ but it was $275 and very well equipped an EMT Kit with extras. Still carry a few gal of water in the XJ.

"I get by with a little help from my friends"... They are pretty much unheard of and unavailable elsewhere, had to ask.
