Default XJ HID Conversion

Who can recommend a good 6000k HID conversion kit for the XJ? I'm looking into the switch for better visibility on the road.

Preferably looking for one of those all-in-one kits that include the wiring, ballasts, housings, and bulbs.

Thanks in advance.

I'm running a 6000k set up with Autopal housongs. I got a complete Bi-Xenon kit (HID high and low beam) with slim ballast and relay for like $70 online. They are bright as hell!! Been holding up so far for 3 months.

My old cheapo pair of HiDs (no high beams or relay) I bought before for $40 held up for 2 years before the ballasts died.

Take a look at Karnage Motorsports located down here in South Florida. One of the guys went to TnT Customs out in Wyoming, stayed with them and got training for the installs from the owners and is now a dealer. With that being said, take a look there, they have a website: http://www.karnagemotorsports.com/

Do you have links to the stuff you bought?

I'm basically trying to piece everything together, and purchase it. I know nothing about HIDs, to be honest.

A set of E code housing off ebay and a set of 6000k hids off ddmtuning.com are about the best youre gonna get short of a full on projector lens retrofit.

Care to make your post at least somewhat useful and explain why?

That looks like a good kit. Just make sure you get a good housing for them. Makes a world of difference. Before, I had those cheap EBay housings and immediately threw them away after a week.
