Anyone flipped the rear springs? Is it worth it? Post some pics of extended xjs

I know several people who have and I thought about it when I went full width but it requires a lot more fab than I felt like doing and I still ran mine on the road then and a fuel cell wouldn't pass the emission test here.

Flip them. Put the front of leaf spring in the back & the back in the front, for longer wheelbase. I believe it extends wheelbase about 6" more than factory.

Yup. XJ springs have an offset center pin, so if you run them backwards you get a 6" stretch but there is a lot more to it than just spinning them around.
