Default XJ - 3" lift, 35s

I had this XJ and went to a TJ. Im back in a XJ now. I sold this one to a buddy last year, I bought it back.

Up Country '95 2 door, 5 speed, Dana 35, NP231, 3.07 gears

Swapped in Dana 30 and welded 29 spline 8.25 with 3.55s
3" Rustys HD coils
Bastard pack with Dakota leafs netting 3"
IRO adjustable trac bar
Disconnects
225/75/15 tires

Trimmed 3" form the front. Considering rolling a 1" lip inwards.

3" of lift 225s

4" trimmed out.

Mike tacking the inner fender back to the outer.

3" of lft with 35s on 4" backspace wheels
Not fully flexed but you get the idea. No clearance issues. The front is going to rub the inner well at full lock and full stuff. Should droop a bit better next week after the long arms.

Next week comes Clayton Long Arm, Ruffstuff frame stiffeners and rocker replacement.

Possibly a winch behind the front bumper.

Thats probably the extent of it for this summer.

Bumpstops would take care of that rub.

More cutting will take care of that rub! lol

Very nice so far, I've been wanting to step back down to 3.5" and up to 35's for a while so I'll be watching.

I was thinking of plumbing the intake into the cowl at some point moving the battery so I could reform the inner front fender well but Ill probably jut bumpstop. That extra 1" wont isnt going to be a big deal.

I hear ya. I figured bump stops were a no brainer when you dont lift them to the sky.

Unfortunately with some of the noobs and crazy folks that post here....'common sense' things arent always common. :/

Take for example the guy using steel gas tubing to lengthen his trac bar....

Hahahahaahahahahah....Bwwahahahahaha GOD he's a enginemaneer, he's got it lol.

Anyway dude thats amazing, looks great! Wish I could do 35's but I'm scared to cut the back open like that
And you can move your front axle forward 2" without and you will love it!

I'm at 3", lower CA length should be 16", mine are set at 18.5"..uppers are around 16.5 I think..looks better, rides better, and flexes better because I'm not rubbing the back of the fenderwell at full stuff anymore!!
Any better pics of your jeeps stance? I'm thinking I may try to up to 35's

Aswome man thank you. I'm thinking 35's would be awsome on my jeep, even though its a ExPo type rig...35's would gain me a few inches of clearence and would look sick..just kind of worried about trimming even more in the rear lol.
