Building a 4 cylinder or six cylinder for speed equals ricey... I dont care what car or truck its its in unless its 4x4... a 24o is not american and none were ever a v8 originally... u cant get more ricey then that... Drop a v8 in one... Dont lower it.. Drag slicks and american racing wheels with stock inteior... No gay eibach stickersand junk all over it and then I wont call it a ricer... Build it like a muscle car... 4bangers and six bangers are not muscle...
Mustang looks sick! Tell me more about that haha.

I have had everything, and my favorites are turbo cars. V8 or 4.
My next will be a turbo v8. Just because its been too long since I've owned one.
Hell I towed my 240 with an 11 second twin turbo dodge diesel. It was a 6 cylinder and had some stickers so I guess it was ricey.

So what? Take a v8 and make over 100hp per hole and have it be driveable, reliable, and efficient. Doesn't happen naturally aspirated.

We put together a junkyard freebie coupe two years ago to play with on the street for the summer. Plan started out as 306 nitrous beater and ended up with my buddy's Outlaw 10.5 parts in it. R block 331 with a billet 106, th400. Ran it for a summer but realized it was far too dangerous and parted it out. They wouldn't let us make a full pass at lebanon valley because it didn't have a cage but it went an 1/8 good for 8.8xs with a junk 60ft. Miss that car
I see where ur coming from but he can easily make 350+ HP without a V-8 and save weight, gas milage and still blow the doors off an equal hp american muscle car. Im sure u havent seen much on youtube about imports racing domestics. I have seen a ton. Im not hating on u but this is far from good advice on being "ricey" ive seen 200+ vids n cars that were import that were less hp and blew the doors off heavier gas hog v-8s.

I appreciate american muscle very much but the import world has came along way since fast and furious in 01. And as for decals putting "eibach" on ur car when u in fact have eibach suspension is not at all ricey. No different then a mustang with "holley" or "flowmaster" on it. Ya u throw big a$$ rims and a ghetto canister muffler with no ***** behind it then ya thats ricey. But u can easliy build an import that will be as good if not better then domestics. Watch AMS evo on youtube it destroys car after car (mostly domestics with more HP) then it and its durable as hell. It took a fully build big block on slicks with 200 shot to beat it. And it doesnt cost 25 grand under the hood to make it happen. Just like the STIs. Even the dodge neon SRT-4 was designed by the japanese. Again im jot bashing u here just sayin.

Ill just toss my 2 cents in.
I've owned my share of cars over the years. Including a few imports.
I can make more power out of a small block motor a lot cheaper than I could ever make on any import motor.
My last street/race car was a 82 datsun shell I picked up for 300.
-$500 homebuilt 4bolt SBC I built with a mild cam, mild port job. Open shorties, HEI ignition.
-$50 2800 rpm stall converter
-$300 demon 750
-$250 nitrous plate kit with 200jets
-and some well worn drag radials.
So about $1400 for roughly 450whp reliably in a 2475lbs car without driver and a half full tank.
And the car ran side by side with mid to low 11second cars on the street almost every weekend, on worn radials.
And both my foxbodys went into low 12s with boltons and a small shot.
You just can't do that with imports reliably for cheap.
Although on the other hand, I spent nearly 8 grand to get my gtp into the 11's...so it can go either way.
