I'm torn. It's ugly as hell, but still cool somehow.

A stretch Cherokee! Complete with pick-up bed no less!
Either the person who did this had too much time on their hands..
or maybe its for use as a back country limo?

Though its approach, departure and break over angles would leave rock crawling out of the question.

I'm not sure rock crawling is in the owner scope. Probably more like pootang huntin'.

That's what I was thinking. For all that work, the thing still looks like a friggin' beater. LOL

I have to appreciate the industry and follow-through displayed in that project, but the poor thing ended up looking just like an old beat-up Mazda B-series pickup!

It's been done before and better, but this one doesn't look TOO bad.

What's interesting to me is...

Did MJ's ever come in that color? I feel like they didn't which means painting at least the MJ bits was part of the effort.

They are just letting it rust?! Definitely rot above the rear wheel, and it's hard to tell with the dirt there, but I wouldn't be surprised if rust is chewing on the bottom of the doors and rockers. They have the skill to pull this off but don't bother to do anything about the cancer?

Mismatched tires on a 4x4 is always a great idea.

That cowlick of a spoiler or whatever it is on the back of the roof...ugly. It also looks like it is higher than the roof rack--way to limit the uses for that rack.

Sounds like OP needs to track this guy down and land an interview. Too many questions and no answers. LOL
