Question Wrapping a 99 XJ

If anyone has had their XJ wrapped could you please pm me or post here if you know a ballpark price of how much it would cost? If you could it would be amazing have been wanting to wrap mine for quit some time now... Have never gotten around to finding a place and have a estimate done.

It would be cheaper just to get a cheapo maaco paint job.

a good wrap job is a couple grand.

thanks really wanted a gunmetal grey color wrap but you might have just changed my mind.

I was told 3 grand for a single color on a full size pickup.If you want cheapish look in to plastidip.Heres a video

You are probably better off with a Maaco paint job, or getting your own plasti-dip setup

I was quoted $3000 for Line-X on my XJ which I think is a better option for that kind of cash.

I agree with the others a wrap is not something I would do with an off road SUV that sees tree limbs, brush, rocks, etc..


Best bet is something you can touchup easily when you get it scratched or dented. I worry more about rust and do not have any but check close for it all the time that is a repair that is done quickly. All my paint for bumpers is Rustoleum Black and I had 4 cans of paint mixed and put into spray cans for my body color and one quart can for touchups for scratches and scrapes done with a brush.
