Default Wrap or paint?

Looking at redoing the jeeps image and wondered which would be the better way to go. What's everyone's opinion on wraps vs. Paint

wraps are awesome. they are pretty tough and can protect the paint from some pinstriping due to tight trails, but it is very expensive.

This.^^^

I know a guy who recently had his vehicle wrapped. Not a Jeep, but a Mustang. I asked him how much, and was shocked when he told me "Almost 2k"...and, they broke his passenger side door handle to boot, LOL

Turned out ok I guess, but he got this weird pattern, I didn't care for it, but he liked it, so whatever.

I just thought that was outrageous for something (IMO) that didn't look that good, wasn't permanent (this could be a good thing, tho) and ended up with broken parts, which they tried blaming on him, and didn't fix...

Ty for the imputed guys. The jeep is primarily an off road toy with minimal on road. I was really unsure about durability with the wrap and have heard they can be pricy

Last time i priced a wrap was 1500 for a single normal color.Cheaper options to me are plastidip or a dyi bedliner.Or have a place like macco paint it for you even those are hit and miss.

You could do camo bedliner but will take a while and a lot of masking.
