I had to leave it in this area me and my friends call "Vietnam" for 3 1/2 days. Buried my 30's halfway up and I had to be towed out by a bronco 2. And with my anti ford propaganda I spread...my friends gave me hell for a couple months. Took that couple of months to get all the ants out....

2005 - Ramadi, Iraq. The driver took the corner too sharply around the canal and flipped right in. We called this HMMWV "the ***** truck" after this because, well, it smelled pretty bad. 7-ton MTVR wrecker was able to fish it out of the canal.

I've gotten stuck in my Suburban a few times and I got stuck once in the XJ really good. The rear slipped into a gaping hole and the XJ was just sitting there doing an endo. I had no front recovery points at the time so I had to risk using the transmission crossmember to tie a strap onto. A full size Chevy was able to yank it out. Sorry, no pics.

Hah, well that isn't mine, its a friends. I got to rip his bumper/frame rail off, but he was attempting to straddle the trench, which was ill-advised by all of his passangers. The "poor XJ" is now repaired though, took a lot of metal, but it is better than ever, including a new hood, frontend and fenders, as well as a whole new floor and plated framerails.
