So I'm brainstorming how to wire some led lights I have.

Would it be possibly for me to split a wire?

Meaning, I need to power 2 lights via one wire. Could I solder 2 wire leads onto the end of the single lead?

So it would look something like this...

------------------- (light)
(switch)-----------<
--------------------(light)

^main lead from switch


^split in main lead Where 2 wires are soldered

^2 wires going to lights



Sorry about the extremely crude drawing. Im on my phone so if everything doesnt stay lined up I'll have to use paint once I find the charger for my laptop.
