Default wire conectors

friend of mine [phone guy] gave me these.3m scotchlok ur2 connectors.they are filled with goo,good goo i guess,takes a e-9 crimping tool,or pliers.have used them on various things and are really handy.lot quicker and easier than solder/heat shrink.input?

Box says they only work with small gauge wire. I've never seen those before. I'd just as soon use a butt splice.

Scotch locks are nice because they are water tight.

I never had one that worked before though. They seem to be hit or miss for a lot of people. So that's the reason I just use crimps when I can.
