So I'm going to get my windows tinted soon what percentage looks the best with a royal blue color? California is allowed any percentage on the back and side windows and 70 for the front windows any ideas?

In Michigan, the law is any shade behind the b-pillars, any shade 4 inches down on the driver, passenger and windshield. Most police won't bother you for 20% or lighter on the front two. We're doing mine next weekend ( we have a tinter at our shop), I'm going with 20% all the way around except the windshield. Normally, we'd charge $219 for everything on an XJ, besides the windshield. Mine will be $75 at the employee rate.
