do you have an y factory tint?

I feel for you guys who have never learned this. because it is a hand over fist racket. but if you don't feel comfortable doin it,then you should have it done. good luck.

well is it dark or just a pollarized coating? factory rear window tinting will be about 20% or darker.

 

No way factory tint is 20% or darker, im in nh and u cant have anything darker then 35% which factory tint is propbly 40-35%

 

sorry your wrong. on newer vehicles like 92 or 93 and newer they were 20% as they are now.

It was called "Deep dark tinted rear window(s)

The older jeeps were 35-40 % if at all.

 

Well i have a 98 with factory tint. Idk how iv been passing inspection then and getting away with not getting tickets then cause the law here is no darker then 35%

Yeah. thats aftermarket tint on you front side windows. If you have factory tint which is only available on the rear parts of 4 door vehicles they will not pull you over. trus tme if the back half of your truck has FACTORY tint you won't be getting pulled over it.
and on our trucks its 20%.

 

Well i just lookd up the law for my state it says no tint allowed on drives side window and also passager side and 35% is the darkest you can go for rear windows, and for the windshield only 6" from the top of the winshield down can be tinted. And no colored tint allowed

 

That maybe true as it is in my state too,but thats if you don't have factory tint to begin with. have you ever seen 35% tint? its not that dark.

Look at some of the other suvs out there.trust me its 20% factory. get the gauge that measures it. My friend worked for gm for 25 years and we talked about this years ago. thats what they use to tint suvs that get that option. most just come with it standard nowa days.

 

I got a complete window tint from eBay. It was only 26 dollars shipped. It's already precut. You can pick different shades. I got 35% up front and 20% all rears. It wasn't to bad to instal. My only problem was that mid way it got breezy and then it rained. There were a couple places I had to trim. But over all it looks good. I might get another kit and and have it done by someone with way more experience.

I was thinking of getting my windows tinted... but Idk any good places in nj...

 

any good speed shop. Maybe you should look in your phone book. the should be a few there.

 

there are a few by me but I have not heard good things about them...
