Default Window tint

How difficult is it to do it yourself truely? Everyone makes it sound like brain surgery, but it really doesn't look to difficult with proper tools and if you take your time? Also why are some tints applied inside the vehicle with an adhesive solution, while some are done on the outside with a heat gun?

Easy. Trick I used was to use the outside of my window to trace cut the tint. Place the clear film side away from the window and cling it with hair spray then follow the shape of the window around the edge leaving about an inch long on the bottom. Peel it off. Separate the clear film and tint. Use just enough soapy water (windex has alcohol that eats the adhesive) stick it on the inside of the window making sure its in the right direction and tucking the bottom under the weather stip. Spray with soapy water again and squeegee the bubbles out.

I believe you can buy rolls of tint at Walmart. I don't know how good it is, but you can get the tint, and an install kit for less then $40.
