Wimpy Roof? Roof "puffs up" when i shut my doors

Wimpy Roof? Roof "puffs up" when i shut my doors
I know it's a unibody, and I know the roof isn't meant to bear much weight, but anyone have any stories about xj roofs haha

Get a roof rack, mine held me and my at the time 8 month pregnant wife when we went to the mud bog. My rack was originally for a land rover but I cut it to pieces to make it small enough for my xj :thumbs up:

My first jeep the PO used the roof as a truck bed... :/ so needless to say it was dented to hell. It was so bad I would get standing water when it would rain... but I fixed it (as in no more standing water.) with a hydraulic jack and 2x4s

It was so heavy on that poor roof, it was about 15 degrees for a few days and all the snow froze, I wonder if ice can scratch your paint... Probably
