Will stock wheels work for 33s?

Default Will stock wheels work for 33s?

Just wondering if with the 5.25 back spacing if it will cause problems

you wot be able to fit them. you will rub on the lower control arms and 10.5" wheel you need atleast an 8" wide rim, a 12.5" tire is recommended to have a 10" wide rim but an 8" wide will work. but the stock 7" wide rim will not

But 15x8 will work for 33 12.5 15 ya think?

it will work, altho not recommended by the manufacturer. altho alot of ppl do it with out problems.

you will need about 4" backspacing tho

U don't think the stock 5.25 will work without rub then? That sucks I'm prob gonna have to buy whole new wheels to get it to work

i rubbed bad with 31x10.5 AT's on stock wheels.....

go to your local discount tire.

soft 8's are about $60 each..

$240 ....

summit has then for about $50 each as well

If you can live with 33 x 10.5 -15's then run them in stock 7" rims. No problem of the width of tire to the rim. However, you will rub inside, lower control arm at full turn. So for the backspacing resolve with 1.25 spidertrax, qualtiy parts for about $140 w/tax delivered in about a week from Qtech.
Always put a new valve stem in when mounting tires.
That is what I would do.

I've seen 33x12.5's mounted on stock ecco wheels but the guy rubbed pretty bad on the sidewalls i guess. I'm sure they would have some funny treadwear being mounted on a 7inch rim also.
