Put a hole in the sidewall of my MTR's at Moab two weeks ago. Goodyear says they have a 6 year warranty against manufacturing defects (it is a 1" hole in the 3 ply kevlar sidewall) and that they will prorate a replacement.
Anyone have any experience/luck with getting them to do it?
Do you claim it didn't happen off road?

I don't understand how you think a hole in the sidewall that you put there would be considered a manufacturing defect. That's like running over several nails and expecting them to replace the tire.lol
Unless you have a separate warranty on the tire, like Discount Tire offers, you will be paying out of pocket for a new tire.

On these cheap azzed tires I bought the shop offered a road hazard warranty for 5.00 @ at the time of purchase hell for 25.00 it was worth it if I never used it.
On your tire I think your SOL on that deal unless you have road hazard.
